Start with the family that matches what you can already do. Complete beginners should begin with Hangul, because every other family assumes you can read the alphabet. The table gives a starting point for five common situations.

Each family has its own hub that lists every sheet with a description. Press play to hear a lead word for each family.

Hangul Worksheets

Ten PDFs for learning to write and read the alphabet, in an order that matches the lessons so each sheet uses only letters you have already met. Sheets are split by letter group (basic consonants, aspirated consonants, double consonants, basic vowels and compound vowels), and a 10-page pack covers all 40 letters in order. A one-page alphabet sheet serves revision, the syllable grid is a 14-by-5 fill-in table, and the batchim sheet sorts words into the seven final sounds.

Vocabulary Worksheets

Eleven themed PDFs, one for each vocabulary theme on the site, such as family, food, places and numbers. Sheets mix matching, fill-in and a short writing task. The numbers sheet asks which number system to use for age, time and money, since Korean has two.

Grammar Worksheets

Five PDFs that follow the grammar-by-level pages: beginner, intermediate and advanced grammar, particles and conjugation. The particles sheet focuses on pair choices such as 은/는 and 에/에서, and the conjugation sheet runs from stems to a few irregular verbs.

Printable Charts and Posters

Nine PDFs that give you the paper rather than the exercise. Blank grids come in three box sizes with dashed cross lines. 원고지 (wongoji) manuscript paper is a 20-by-10 grid used in Korean schools. A block template shows the initial, vowel and final positions for vertical, horizontal and mixed vowels. There are also charts such as a Hangul table.

What Do the Four Families Cover?

Family PDFs Level What you do Answer key
Hangul 10 A0 to A1 trace, copy, fill grids, sort, read yes
Vocabulary 11 A1 match, fill in, write yes
Grammar 5 beginner to advanced choose forms, fill in, conjugate yes
Printables 9 A0 to A1 write on blank paper, use charts writing sheets only

The counts add up to 35. Charts and templates have no right answers, so they carry no key; the printable writing sheets and the exercise sheets in the other three families each end with one.

Should I Use a Worksheet, a Flashcard Deck or a Quiz?

Printable Korean practice materials: Should I use a worksheet, a flashcard deck or a quiz?
Choose, complete and review Korean worksheets on paper.

Use all three, because each trains a different skill. A worksheet trains your hand and your recall of shapes. A flashcard deck trains quick recognition and sound, with audio. A quiz tests what you have learned and explains each wrong answer.

Tool Trains Best moment to use it
Worksheet writing, spelling, reading aloud from paper right after a lesson, while shapes are fresh
Hangul flashcard decks recognition, sound, spaced review a few minutes each day
Hangul quizzes checking and finding gaps at the end of a unit

A simple weekly routine for a beginner has five steps. Read one lesson on Monday. Complete the matching Hangul sheet on Tuesday. Review the matching flashcards on Wednesday and Thursday. Take the quiz on Friday, and redo any sheet row that the quiz exposed as weak. The Hangul writing practice page explains the same copy-then-recall idea online, and the sheets give you the offline version.

Can I Use the Sheets in Class?

Yes. The worksheets are free for personal and classroom use. A teacher can print as many copies as needed, keep the answer-key page for marking and link students to the page they need. Please link to the page instead of re-hosting the PDF, because corrections are made to the live file. Each sheet page describes its contents page by page, so you can choose a sheet before you print.

How Do I Print the Sheets?

Choose, complete and review Korean worksheets on paper.

Print at 100 percent scale ("actual size"), not "fit to page", so the boxes keep their size. Choose A4 or US Letter on the download card. Black and white is enough, and margins are 12 mm so a hole punch does not cut a letter. Where a PDF has an answer key, it is a separate last page, so you can print the exercise pages alone.

What Do the Worksheets Not Do?

Paper practice trains the hand and eye but not the ear, so pair a sheet with the matching audio on the site. A worksheet also cannot check your handwriting beyond the key. The Korean on the sheets is generated and was reviewed and signed off by Min-ji Park on 15 October 2026. The sheets also assume a teacher or a lesson explains the sounds, so they work best as the practice step after a lesson, not as the first contact with a new letter or rule. Free worksheets are no replacement for a full course; for that, see the Hangul lessons and keep the sheets for practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Korean worksheets free?

Free for personal and classroom use. Teachers may print copies for their students. No reselling or republishing online.

Do the worksheets include answers?

The exercise sheets do. Each PDF ends with an answer key on a separate last page, so you can print the sheet without it and check your work afterwards. The blank grids, manuscript paper and templates in the printables family have no right answers, so they carry no key.

Can I print on US Letter paper?

Yes. Every sheet is available in both A4 and US Letter, and you choose the size on the download card for that sheet. Print at 100 percent scale instead of fit to page so boxes and guides keep their intended size. Black and white is enough for all sheets.

Can teachers use the worksheets in class?

Free for personal and classroom use. Teachers may print copies for their students. No reselling or republishing online.

Where are my answers stored?

Nowhere. The worksheets are printable PDFs that you complete on paper, so the site never sees your answers and needs no account. Your progress is whatever you keep on your own pages. If you want screen-based practice with progress kept in your browser, use the site's flashcards and quizzes.
